Grade 12 Afrikaans FAL exam-preparation workshop with online tutor Shani Morris

Afrikaans FAL Grade 12 Exam Preparation: A Little Help Can Make a Big Difference

Are you a Grade 12 learner preparing for your Afrikaans First Additional Language exams? Perhaps Afrikaans feels like a confusing puzzle, your essays never seem to say what you want them to say, or the difference between “het” and “hĂȘ” is beginning to feel personally offensive!

The good news is that you do not have to struggle alone.

I am offering a focused two-hour Afrikaans FAL exam-preparation workshop designed to help Grade 12 learners understand exactly where they are losing marks and more importantly, how to gain them.

Special Grade 12 Afrikaans FAL Offer.

For only R349.90, you can book a personalised two-hour online lesson with me, Shani Morris.

If you are failing, I can help you work towards passing. If you are already passing but want to achieve a higher mark, this two-hour lesson could provide the direction and confidence you need.

Sometimes, learners do not need to study harder. They need someone to explain the work in a way that makes sense to them.

Proven Results with Grade 12 Learners.

I have had very encouraging results with my Grade 12 learners, and I would love the opportunity to support more students.

Every learner is different. Some learners understand the work but panic during tests. Others know the rules but struggle to apply them. Some can write wonderful ideas in English but become completely stuck when they have to express those ideas in Afrikaans.

There are learners who look at an examination question as if it has just asked them to solve an ancient Egyptian mystery!

My role is to make the work clearer, calmer and more manageable.

A Personalised Lesson for Every Learner.

One of my strengths as a tutor is that I do not use exactly the same approach with every learner. I listen carefully, ask questions and pay attention to how each student thinks and responds.

I often feel that I have a special gift for reading learners. Not literally reading their minds, although that would certainly make marking easier! I notice when a learner is confused, anxious, bored, rushing or pretending to understand.

Once I understand what the learner needs, I adapt my teaching style.

The aim is not simply to rush through a mountain of work. The aim is to identify the most important areas and use the two hours effectively.

Afrikaans Can Become Easier.

Afrikaans FAL does not have to feel frightening. With the right explanation, enough practice and a tutor who understands how you learn, difficult concepts can become much easier.

My passion is helping learners realise that they are capable of more than they think. I want students to leave a lesson feeling more confident, more prepared and less likely to stare at their examination paper as if it has personally betrayed them.

A small improvement in understanding can lead to a big improvement in confidence. Confidence often makes it easier to attempt questions properly.
